Jade Perch Fingerlings Added to Aquaponics Demonstration Kit

50 Jade Perch Fingerlings have been added to our demonstration Aquaponics kit. These fish spent the winter inside in a small Bathtub Kit, as they were too small to brave the cold, outside water temperatures.

Although we had reasonable growth rates during the cycling of our system, we expect to see far quicker and much more vigorous growth now that the fish have been added. We will add new pictures of our demonstration Aquaponics kit shortly.

Demonstration Kit Installed - Patio Duo Aquaponics Kit

Our demonstration Aquaponics kit has been set up and is currenlty cycling, a process which encourages the growth of the bacteria needed to convert the fish wastes into usable elements for the plants. Plant growth during this time still occurs, but isn't as fast as when the fish have been added to the system.
